The Perak Sultan protested against Chinese resettlement program in 1950 did not affect legal status of the land titles given to Chinese residents by British colonial  government.

If the Sultan of Perak wants to turn Perak back to old days under a feudal system, the sultan shall step down and lead a politcal party to contest in the general election.

The social contract in 50s before independence is Chinese residents were given land to settle down in exchange of giving up supports to the communists. It’s perplexing to quote the old history of Perak Sultanate in this land title issue.

How about our Sultans “worked” with the Japanese Imperial Army in the past,  they should be charged in war court if we want to go back to history. Malay sultan status is also a part of social contract like Chinese citizenship and land title which should not be challenged and questioned based on the past history.
