Another BS from Najib...Chinese are paying double taxation for Chinese schools

Bus used by PM Najib is a deluxe type

Assistance to 50% government-funded Chinese schools only come before election to solicit Chinese votes.

MOE development budget allocated for Chinese and Tamil schools is 5%, and Chinese community has to raise fund all year round for schools just to maintain its buildings, computer labs, etc.

With more bumi students enroll into Chinese schools, Chinese have to subsidize more bumi besides the NEP.

Now BN ever ask Chinese schools to receive funding from 4D gambling business and indirectly to encourage Chinese to be habitual gamblers.

Melaka CM, Mohd. Ali will be delighted to call gambling is a Chinese culture because our Chinese schools are now funded by the gambling sin tax.

What is the next innovative policy to help Chinese schools?

Encourage more Chinese men to prostitute in the hanky-panky massage centers for more entertainment tax to support Chinese schools?

PM hails Chinese role in education

By Sharanjit Singh and Audrey Dermawan

GEORGE TOWN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has expressed pride in the role and contribution of the Chinese community towards the betterment of education in the country.

Najib said the government recognised and commended the community’s commitment to education, and it was for this reason it had supported and given assistance to Chinese schools all this while.

He said the government would continue to focus on education as it strived to develop the country further.

He said the future of the country depended on all Malaysians, especially the younger generation, and it could be achieved only through education.

“I share your hopes, dreams and aspirations for our children.

“We must rise above the political fray and work together for the country.

“I want everyone to feel that we are together because only then can we overcome all obstacles.

“Regardless of our political differences, we can work together for the future of our children.”

Najib said he had taken bold steps to allay the fears of the Chinese when he was education minister by removing the power of the minister to convert national-type schools into national schools.

He said the move was taken in line with the concept and spirit of being fair to all Malaysians, especially where education was concerned.

“One of the most positive outcome of this change was that it helped widen diversity in our school system.

“Chinese national-type schools now have almost 56,000 Bumiputera students out of 612,000 students.”

Najib said yesterday, more Malays spoke Mandarin than ever before and this was part of the transformation Malaysia needed to help give it a business edge in years to come.

Citing his own son as an example, Najib said he had sent him to Beijing to learn Mandarin for a month and was now studying the language at Georgetown University in the United States.

Najib said his late father and second prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, had taken steps to build good relations with China and he was continuing the effort.

The prime minister had earlier joined 3,000 cyclists to take part in the 1Malaysia Charity Ride For Education held at the Straits Quay here yesterday.

The 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB)-sponsored event was organised by the Kwong Wah Yit Poh Chinese daily to raise funds for building repairs, infrastructure upgrades and support for academic activities at Chinese schools in the state.

Besides sponsoring the cost of organising the event, the foundation also contributed 5,000 bicycles to schoolchildren who participated in the event.

国阵害怕两线制,因为国阵担心人民有选择后它会失去政权。

两线制其中最大的意义在予它给了人民一个选择的机会(Freedom of Choice),这是过去前所未有的局面。

Cannot understand why those da ma cai people invited Najib for the event when the BN government is not one that provided the eduction fund.

They should invite Najib on the condition that Najib could 1-1 with government fund for every ringgit raised by da ma cai for the chinese education. Certainly those MCA people on the occassion do not know how to capitalise on the opportunity as their focus is to brown-nose Najib.

Wadiamanis says:

The real BS are those chinese flers brown-nosing Najib to gain favour for future biz contracts.

Wadiamanis says:

Every chinese knows that the chinese education contribution was the effort of private initiative, not Najib nor the govt. Not only that it was for the chinese, but the indian community as well. The more the MCA thanks Najib for that effort, the more hollow and hypocritic that sounds and it irks the community for taking credit where none is due. After Pan Malaysian Pools and Quek Leng Chan, MCA has no more leg to stand on. Najib has not offered any concrete support to MCA during his speech shows how fragile and thin the relationship is.

Sukir says:

50,000 non-Chinese are now studying in SJK Chinese schools.

My son and daughter are two of them.

My worry is my ulama may ask me to transfer them to national school after duit haram from da ma cai is channeled to chinese schools via the community chest program.

The six taxes from cigarette, alcohol, Genting Casino, massage centers, etc. are never separated from other taxes, the mosques most likely are built with some sin taxes.

One good joke from Zorro to distress:

One year, CSL decided to buy his mother-in-law a cemetery plot as a
Birthday gift.
The next year, he didn’t buy her a gift.
When she asked me why, he replied,
“Well, you still haven’t used the gift I bought you last year!”
And that’s how the fight started…..and he had to move into a BP Hotel.

Ray says:

We must not forget the plight of those GROs that service the industry (mca-linked?) heavily taxed by BN.

School chldren should acknowledge that the school fund is indirectly contributed by these unsung GROs.
