The mother of racist, UMNO condemns Nga is a racist….Another joke

Any Malaysian can condemn DAP man for uttered racist remark except UMNO and its machai, Perkasa who is the mother of racist.

This is like a smoking father asks his son no smoking.

Metallic Black Reflects Indecent, Ugly And Contemptuous Thoughts

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) — Umno leaders today slammed Perak DAP secretary Nga Kor Ming for calling Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir “metallic black”, describing the remark as indecent, ugly and contemptuous.

Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said the DAP leader might have thought it was a normal joke but the remark was made even more embarrassing because it was responded to with laughters from PAS supporters who seemed to be amused by the insults.

“When the term ‘metallic black’ is being used to refer to a certain individual in Umno, it is a manifestation of a subconscious thought, of what has been playing out in their hearts all along, and in the hearts of their friends and among DAP leaders.

“They actually don’t see Malaysians as Malaysians but see them based on their skin colours and that those with a fair skin are superior and have a much higher status than those with a dark skin,” he told Bernama, here Thursday.

Ahmad Shabery, who is also Youth and Sports Minister, said although Nga had apologised for his remark, it was not enough because the remark was not just about skin colours but also about “haram jadah”.

“These words hurt the feelings of all Malays; the term ‘haram jadah’, which means ‘bloody bastard’ in English, is most insulting,” he said.

He added that those who uttered such word were not fit to be a leader, let alone representing the people in state legislative assemblies or in parliament.

If the DAP continued to field Nga to contest in the coming election, it would mean that the party condoned his rude behaviour, he added.

“They say they are anti-racism but when they see others on the basis of their skin colours, then they are a racist party,” he said.

He said all political leaders in the country, whether they are from the opposition or Barisan Nasional, should be educated so that they reject racism and not utter racist remarks.

“We should not insult a person based on his or her skin colour. This is an important element in a modern and developed politics. In the United States, the word ‘black’ in reference to an ethinc group has been replaced with the term African American,” Ahmad Shabery said.

Another supreme council member Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said Nga was forced to apologise to Dr Zambry because the DAP had been cornered by the issue.

“This can actually be acted upon by the people. This shows that the DAP and its partners discriminate the society and our leaders.

“If this is how they think they can win, then the victory, which is attained on the basis of discriminatory words, won’t bring (us) anywhere,” he said.

Nga, who is Taiping MP and Pantai Remis assemblyman, apologised yesterday over the remark but said that his statement was misinterpreted and that he harboured no hatred towards Dr Zambry.

He also said that he was only referring to the taking over of the state government by the BN which he said was illegal.

Umno Youth vice-chief Datuk Razali Ibrahim said Nga had gone overboard with his speech, slamming the remark as something which did not reflect the culture of the people in the country.

“Not just metallic black, but also the word ‘haram jadah’… this goes to show the extent of his rudeness and arrogance. He should be punished by the DAP, a party which claimed to be fair to all,” he said.

Razali said PAS should also be held responsible because Nga made the remark on a PAS platform and was cheered on by the party’s supporters.

“Up until now, PAS is silent. What is their stand on this? Does this mean they condone Nga’s racist remark? His apology cannot be accepted. He should be punished,” he said in a text message to Bernama.
