Why Israel product is sold in Malaysia?

I just bought a camera backpack bag from a local online store and realized the bag was imported from an Israel company, Kata www.kata-bags.com after I unpacked the packaging.

Can anti-Jewish UMNO-led BN government explains why the trade embargo against Israel is not fully enforced?

I am not anti-Jewish, but disapprove Israel occupation on Palestinian land and feel guilty to support Israel indirectly by buying their product.

This is a new bullet for PR to attack BN in the Malay kampongs, please use this case at free of charge.

The report on Europe-Israel trade ties published by the EU’s European Commission of Trade on June 8, 2011 placed Malaysia at the 24th spot in a list of 50 countries in their value of import trades with Israel. It also placed the country at the 11th position for export and an overall 15th for trade with Israel.

Dr Jessica Ong (RTM anchorwoman of world’s affairs) should do a research on this and explores further the indirect ties btwn Msia-Israel vis UMNO-linked business.

As we do not know the origin of those sub-standard products as sold in KR1M, could tehy possibly be rejects from Israel?

Anyway BN is by-passing the law and do not prosecute Mydin for the tainted food with the excuse of ‘mislabeling’. Again it is the Health Minister (MCA again) to tell lies once again. BN practices double standard without due care for the safety of rakyat just because the food is cheap.

    • The concept of 1Kedai is good (is borrowed from Singapore) to check the price in the private sundry shops.

Selling 30% cheaper is possible by merely cutting various middleman layers. My father was a vegetable and durian farmer, I can tell you middleman making more money than the producer.

The tricky part is Mydin is buying from bumi producers. So, I will not buy from 1Kedai for this reason.

I will not take those unnecessary health risk by buying/consuming KR1M products as the savings in negligible but the impact (potential health cost) is very high.
OK for those who assume life expectancy of 55 is long enough.

Well as long they got profit in it,who cares about Israel or not!.Infact most of the defence equipments came from Israel loh!.In Malaysia,’they’ don’t like Americans. But when you visit KFC,’they’ are their major customer!.Infact ‘they’ can openly claim it’s their favorite food!.Sigh!

“The Jews robbed the Palestinians of everything, but in Malaysia they could not do so, hence they do this, depress the ringgit.”

“Today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them. They invented socialism, communism, human rights and democracy so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong so they may enjoy equal rights with others.”

“1.3 billion Muslims cannot be defeated by a few million Jews.”

This is what I have been told by my malay colleague:

Contrary to Malaysia’s pro-Palestine campaign, a youth group (Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia) has alleged that Johor companies have been trading palm oil with their Israeli counterparts.
