Have you boycotted mamak stalls and restaurants?

They are running anti-Chinese racial demonstrations in Penang after PR won the election. Stop visiting mamak restaurants means stop funding these racists.

Bukit Bendera UMNO Ahmad (Datuk Ahmad Ismail) is already venturing into arowana business, it’s time to lobby Mainland Chinese to boycott Ahmad’s arowana business. His arowana farm in Bukit Merah is Crossback Arowana, you can see the giant signboard on the left when you travel to Penang via Plus Highway.

MACC should also investigate Ahmad’s arowana export business because my source said Ahmad was alleged in exporting arowanas without CITES permit.

Besides, 99% of workers in the mamak stalls are foreigners. Why you spend money to feed these aliens? Your money should be spent wisely in any restaurants staffed by local workers.

Another solid reason is unhealthy and unhygienic food served in the mamak stalls.

I have been actively boycotting mamak stalls since last year, and patronizing mamak stalls always is my last option.

I don’t eat mamak food anyway, so there’s nothing for me to boycott. I only eat banana leaf rice in small, family-run Southern Indian stalls. The proprietors I know are friendly and generous with portions. Less calculative too when it comes to the bill. Their food is more nutritious, more ‘sincere’ in quality, compared to mamak shops where the food is expensive and of inferior quality made of the cheapest of the cheap. Example: raw cucumbers with chili and sugar is considered by mamak shops as a vegetable. For plain rice with fried potatoes and raw cucumber, they already charge RM3.50… hahaha.

Don’t be surprise such mamak food could get ‘heritage’ status in Boelehland ahead of bak kut teh and chicken rice.

I stop patronize the mamak stalls as the food are unhealthy.
Hygience is another factor. I dine at chinese hawker stalls to help the poor hawkers, and to preserve the chinese heritage although many have started to utilize ‘Indon Kakaks’ to cook and man the stalls.

Avoid Ahmad’s Arowana as it is not auspicious, just the like the white packets of Perkasa.

boycott mamak and go for more expensive papparich, oldtown, mcd or kfc ?
chinamen kopitiam are closing down as younger generations do not wish to sustain the businesses in downtown penang.

fyi bangla at mamak shops are friendly folks; and they provide free wifi for me to access to nkkhoo blog (and make nkkhoo richer from ad revenues).

there are many ways to punish umno and not necessarily mamaks as not all mamaks are back.

for example, any people dislike nkkhoo’s arrogance and that do not mean they are anti Muar people.

Join ABU and also don’t support CSL’s MCA !

A rightful mind Malaysian should support Ali, Ah Chong and Ramasamy’s stalls who only hire local people.

I found those Indian workers in mamak shops are suck with no initiative to serve customers.

A bunch of food stalls staffed by local people. Most malay stalls in my kampong are visited by Chinese villagers except the nasi lemak stall.
