Did Bersih 3.0 Sit-in rally in KL has anything to do with Johor?

This is illegal demonstration by UMNO Penang!

Kuala Lumpur is not the subject of Johor Sultan, did Bersih 3.0 Sit-in rally in KL has anything to do with Johor?

His Highness should praise the Bersih 3.0 peaceful assembly in Johor Baru because of no provocation and brutality from the Johor police.

If Johor Sultan wanted to speak out as a Malaysian citizen to criticize Bersih, that is absolutely fine. But His Highness should accept all kind of rebuttals from other citizens and no taking rebuttals from rakyat as a “derhaka” and disrespectful act against His Highness.

I hope Johor Sultan’s condemnation on illegal demonstrations did include Perkasa and UMNO in Penang. Do you think so?

I disagree with His Highness of Johor Sultan, KL Bersih 3.0 sit-in rally attracted international fame because of police brutality in attacking reporters and protesters.

The Interior Minister, Hisham, a Johorean should be criticized by Sultan for his rudeness and abuse of police power against a peaceful assembly.

Do Not Ignore The Law, Johor Sultan Advises People

KULAIJAYA, May 13 (Bernama) — The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, today advised the people against ignoring the law when putting forward their demands to the government.

He said that of late, some people in the country preferred to act in a way detrimental to security and public order, such as by resorting to street demonstrations.

“Our country is free and independent, but that does not mean we can do things at will and break the law,” he said at the launch of Kembara Mahkota Johor 2012 at TJ Mart, Saleng. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak flagged off the programme.

The sultan, who led the annual royal motorcycle convoy, said the street demonstrations were purely aimed at seeking publicity in the international media and tarnishing the nation’s image.

“They want to portray our country in a state of chaos,” he said when addressing the thousands of people of all races who attended the flag-off.

The sultan advised the people in the state to use the right and valid channels to put forward their demands and never to violate the law.

“Never do anything at will or ignore the law,” he said, and asked the people to always abide by the law.

The sultan said the people, regardless of race and religion, preferred peace and tranquility.

He said Kembara Mahkota Johor enabled him to see the progress of the people, like how the prime minister did through his walkabouts.

Kembara Mahkota Johor 2012, the 13th in the series, will cover 1,012 kilometres in several districts in Johor and end on May 16 in Johor Baharu.

Sultan Johor now on Kembara tour of the heartlands of Johor; and may he educate the people about the respect of all people to the Sultans not necessarily must from UMNO agenda.

Recent foreigners taught a “lesson” not behaving in Johor Resort Islands. And if UMNO does not behave, the Johor Sultan will teach them a lesson as well.
