Bersih supporters should sell pork soup at the roadside in front of Khalid Abu Bakar's house

The Peaceful Assembly Act has clearly stated no gathering near (within 50 or 100 meter?) the housing estate.

I forget Khalid is having same IQ like Hisham. What do you expect Malaysia police professionalism under such a person?

Deputy IGP: Hawkers free to peddle wares in front of Ambiga’s house

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar said hawkers can freely peddle their wares in public space in front of Bersih chairman Datuk S. Ambiga’s house in Bukit Damansara.

“Police will not take action against them. Under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2011, people can hold a gathering as long as they have given notice and acknowledged to the police where to gather.

“They (traders) can do their business in front of her (Ambiga’s) house, in public space; they don’t disturb the it is not an offence; unless they cause some new havoc then we can take action,” he told reporters after launching the Kuala Lumpur police contingent’s blood donation campaign here Monday.

On May 10, a burger seller, incensed that his business was adversely affected by the havoc-turned rally organised last month in the federal capital by opposition-backed non- governmental organisations in the country, opened his stall in front of Ambiga’s residence as a protest against the incident. – Bernama

Street demonstrations, the government says, “are not part of our culture”. So how come this one is OK?

If there is just one reason for the people to vote for change in the GE, that would be to bring back integrity and true sense of purpose to the police force and judiciary… to go back to basics and review exactly what these bodies are supposed to be doing. These are the key institutions that will determine whether the people can live in harmony, feel protected and the country can move forward or alternatively tailspin into anarchy.

Nowadays, if you ask children what they want to be when they grow up nobody wants to be a policeman anymore. They say the police is bad cause they beat up and bully people and are not very smart. Well, that sums up Khalid, PDRM and the Home Minister.
