If Anwar succeeded to overthrow Mahathir is 90s, Malaysia today is a total different Malaysia. Malaysia will be another South Korea after a painful economy reformation process chaired by IMF.
As a saying, “no pain, no gain”. South Korea has proved “given up” sovereignty to the International Monetary Fund is A RIGHT DECISION.
Anwar was ready to give up our sovereignty to IMF, says Najib

KENINGAU: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as Finance Minister was ready to give up Malaysia’s sovereignty to the International Monetary Fund during the 1997 financial crisis.
“The nation was fortunate that our Prime Minister then, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, was able to craft our own formulas to pull the country out of the crisis.
“I know this because I was also a member of the Cabinet then,” he added when launching the RM30mil Sabah Handicraft Centre here at the start of his two-day visit to the state.
The Prime Minister said that Anwar as a senior member of the Cabinet was bereft of ideas.
“Now all that he does is level all sorts of criticism against Barisan Nasional,” he said.
Najib said Anwar had also claimed that 30 Barisan Nasional MPs would defect to the Opposition on Sept 16, 2008, allowing Pakatan Rakyat to take over the Federal Government.
“This is the biggest lie in Malaysian political history. Let us not forget this historical incident easily,” he said.
Najib said Barisan was focused on transforming the nation and ensuring balanced urban-rural development.
The setting up of the handicraft centre reflected this commitment and the close cooperation between the state and federal governments, he added.
While Yayasan Sabah constructed the building, the Federal Government provided the equipment and manpower training costing some RM20mil.
He also announced a RM235mil soft loan to Sabah for the construction of a new water treatment plant and other facilities in Keningau to benefit more than 200,000 people.
Also present were the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman.
At another event, Najib launched the ground-breaking ceremony for the largest livestock centre in the country located at the 834ha Keningau Livestock Integrated Centre (KILC).
It is expected to house 2,000 cattle that would produce six million litres of milk annually.
“That sounds like a lot of milk,” Najib quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd.
He said the milk would be distributed in Sabah, peninsular Malaysia and Brunei.
The centre is expected to start producing its first batch of milk next year.

KIA & Proton started about the same time. Look at where KIA is in automobile world, while Proton is still seeking government intervention in domestic market to stay alive.
Then you can also compare Samsung or LG with Pensonic.

Penang debt reduction is a false signal. RM600 million was gained through the sale of state water facilities to Federal government.
BN is emulating the practice. Perak is a now a “debt-free” state after transferring RM999.2mil worth of water assets to the Federal Government’s Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB).

Cheating rakyat is bad especially from Lim Guan Eng who advocated transparency and honesty.
When you are an underdog and win 1-0 in football courtesy of own goal from your opponents despite having little ball possession and zero shot at goal, the record do not question how you win and you still get all the 3 points. That’s the reality.
That is no cheating, it’s a sheer luck.
LGE is a dishonest man in many occasions. He is still cleaner than BN politikus in money corruption.
Lim Guan Eng is many times more honest than Chua Soi Lek !
Moral is either right or wrong, no such thing a cheating is more or less moral than another cheating.
Utusan likes to find fault with Singapore.
But they never ask why S$ that used to be on par with our MYR (back in late 70′s) is now so powerful that S$1 can now get you RM2.475 at money changer?
Old horse said ‘look east’, and the GenY malays responded by adopting K-Pop and K-dramas!
Why not ‘Look China’ when the country has had successful space program i.e. successfully completed a manual docking between its Shenzhou-9 and Tiangong-1?
China’s manned submersible, the Jiaolong, also reached the depth of 7,000 m of ocean.
Maybe that Old Horse refused to admit the superiority of China for fear of hurting the inferiority complex of its people? Cannot understand why he is so anti-Chinese education when it is to the advantage of its people to learn the language?
UMNO learned bad things from China like corruption, police brutality, and dictatorship.
