PR is a new BN in duit kopi practice?

duit kopi

If you replace Lim Guan Eng name with X, 99% Malaysians will think Penang undersea tunnel project is another BN project.

He quoted 8 billion from the highest quote in the bid. If a proxy company controls by DAP man enters the bid with 15 billion, LGE will proudly announce to the world that he saved 8.7 billion.

This is his smart way of saving 8.7 billion for Penang, and he selectively forget RM 4.08 billion he quoted in 2011.

Besides, there are irregularities in the tender processes which he has chosen not to answer selectively. CAP and many pro-PR NGOs also come out against the project is a clear signal the project is not welcomed in Penang.

Duit kopi hypothesis is only explanation why the project is bulldozed single-handedly by Lim Guan Eng.

If there is a secret voting among Penang DAP committee members, I believe the mega project will be vetoed by Penang DAP.

Since he has hijacked the GE and wanted Penang voters to decide his mega project to proceed or not based on the election result.

My suggestion is vote PR in the parliament level. Vote BN or no vote in state level to teach any big head politician from BN and PR that they are disposable items, and the earth is still spinning without them

Why big difference in cost? Penang BN Youth chief questions CM for increase in tunnel price

by Zalinah Noordin

PENANG Barisan Nasional Youth wants Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to explain the discrepancy in cost of RM2.25 billion for the proposed underwater tunnel and three highway projects.

Its chief H’ng Khoon Leng alleged that the initial cost of the projects announced by Lim was RM4.08 billion, but now it stands at RM6.3billion.

“Is the RM2.25 billion some form of commission for Lim and his administration?” asked H’ng at a press conference at the State BN headquarters in Jalan Cat Kramathere yesterday.

“Penang BN Youth is shocked with the drastic increase in cost for the four projects even before work has begun.

“In September 2011, Lim announced the cost to be RM4.08 billion and now Penangites have been informed of the increase to RM6.3billion. So I think as a chief minister who claims to be a CAT government (Credibility, Accountability and Transparency) and as an accountant himself, he owes us an explanation.

“If he fails to do so, then we take it that companies and individuals, including Lim, have been paid a commission.

“On the other hand, the cost for the Tanjung Bungah-Batu Ferringhi-Teluk Bahang Paired Road has been significantly adjusted from RM586.2 million to RM378 million only after comments made by us recently and that translates into a reduction of 35.5 per cent.

“So now we have two questions for Lim: Why the big difference in the estimated cost announced in September 2011 and the one announced by state exco Lim Hock Seng this month?

“Since there was a 35.5 per cent adjustment of the paired road, can we expect the overall cost of RM4.08 billion to be adjusted accordingly, too?”

H’ng pointed out that if that was the scenario, the total cost after adjustment should be RM2.61 billion instead of RM4.08 billion.

He also accused Lim of misleading Penangites into believing that he had successfully reduced the total cost from RM8 billion to RM6.3 billion through open tender.
