My rebuttal against Tunku Abdul Aziz in Malaysia-Today.net

Tunku Abdul Aziz says

It is time for plain speaking. I am sad that I have to make this comment because I care a lot about Sino-Malay unity. I am not racist and my record speaks for itself. The truth is that it is a Chinese funded and organised demonstration, however disguised, with an agenda that goes beyond fair and free elections. It is being held when the nation is commemorating Merdeka, an event that few Chinese care about. Maria Chin and her camp followers are deliberately forcing Malays into a corner, an act of provocation, committed in the name of democratic rights. Trampling on the rights of others I suppose is part of the democratic rights of these fair weather Malaysians. The authorities have a duty to protect those of us who believe that any change of regime is legitimate only if conducted through the process of the ballot box. To the millions of loyal Malaysians of Chinese origin, I bow humbly before you and apologise for any transgression. I wish you well.

You are a racist bigot, do not need to apologetic to millions Chinese for speaking out your true mind.

When Bersih 1, 2 and 3 are dominated by Malays, Malay bigots blamed Chinese is money-minded, selfish and greedy race and not interested at all in social justice and the future of this nation.

I was labelled as a kiasi unpatriotic Chinese by a Malay General in the Number 3 Council when I tendered my resignation from the military service. When Chinese keep a distance from the national issues, they are called unpatriotic Malaysians. But whenever Chinese are more active in pursuing national issues, they are called racists with an inferior motive to push Malays to a corner.

Dr. Mahahtir himself is so blatantly to ask for Najib removal from PM, but keep UMNO in power. There is no such agenda in Bersih 1 to 4, and please do not find scapegoat on Chinese for your own agenda.

I ask Najib “turun” is an undemocratic call or not? In every democratic country, a citizen can ask their national leaders to resign like every American can ask Obama to resign from the presidency. Whether Obama wants to resign or not before his term ended is his own prerogative unless he is removed by the Senate.

Bersih 2.0 Committee is asking MPs from both sides to cast non-confidence vote on Najib in the parliament. Mind you, this call is not against Malaysia constitution and democratic principle.

Casting non-confidence vote is a legitimate and democratic way to remove PM under the Malaysia Constitution if you are ignorant about it. Ballot box is just another legitimate and democratic way, please do not think it’s a sole and only way to remove a PM.

And now Malay Sultans and the Agong are given power to remove an executive head of state or Prime Minister under BN government leadership.

Bersih 4.0 protesters have never stormed into PM office, removed PM clothing or murdered PM like what had happened in the Middle-East spring uprisings.

Stop to play racial card to incite hatred against Chinese. Malay political leaders in Malaysia and Indonesia played racism too often but they have never being dragged to International Court like Yugoslavia’s former top leader for genocide against Muslims.

This is the main reason anti-Chinese rhetoric is a norm in your Malay culture.

Mind you, Chinese opposition MPs from FT are not invited to celebrate Merdeka Days. BN government itself is making Merdeka Day, a BN event and coincidentally dominated by Malays.

More than 90% public servants are Malays and they are main players in the parade. Please don’t tell me nonsense that Chinese are no interested in the Merdeka or National Day parades.
