Visit Lang Tengah Island befor it's commercialized and polluted like Redang Island

Why I say so?

Radang Island was featured in a Chinese movie at eleven years ago, and the island became an instant magnet and hit for Chinese tourists from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Redang’s sea water visibility could go as far as 200 feet in early 90s and was deemed as a best diving haven in the region before the island was exploited and commercialized for mass tourism.

Now Lang Tengah Island is featured in another love story movie [Love You You] produced by the same producer. I only fast forwarding the movie to have a glimpse on its rustic beach and pristine blue water. The scenery is wow!

Visit the Lang Tengah Island before it’s repeating the same fate of Redang Island when Vincent Tan may build another ugly concrete jetty or airport in the Island.

Cancel the license for this hostel, Reggae Mansion immediately

The Reggae Mansion chain of hostels’ website states that “Reggae Mansion is a hostel for international backpackers. Unfortunately, we do not accept bookings by Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern nationals.”

Stir it up: Guests outside Reggae Mansion in Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, Kuala Lumpur. The hostel’s policy of rejecting guests of certain nationalities has caused an uproar among Netizens.

The hostel is following UMNO apartheid policy, and only Malaysia is allowed such racial policy because UMNO is the mother of apartheid.

Malays themselves should feel the pinch also for this kind of racial discrimination policy right in Malaysia which non-Malays have suffered for over 40 years.

Perkasa should demonstrate to lend support to Reggae Mansion for sharing same ideology.

KUALA LUMPUR: A hostel for international backpackers here which rejects selected nationalities including Malaysians has caused an uproar among local Netizens.

The Reggae Mansion chain of hostels’ website states that “Reggae Mansion is a hostel for international backpackers. Unfortunately, we do not accept bookings by Malaysian, Indian and Middle Eastern nationals.”

Reservations made by these nationalities would be deemed null and void, it said, adding that the hotel was not wheelchair-accessible.

The new boutique backpackers hostel franchise in Jalan Tun H.S. Lee here and George Town, Penang, also does not accept guests who are above 60 years old.

Penang Botanical Gardens in bad shape

I read from Anil blog about Penang Botanical Gardens are deteriorated after the poorly staffed director resigned two months ago.

I did suggest to LGE sends his tourism exco to Sri Lanka to see himself on how a third-world country can maintain first-world gardens. Sri Lankan government was also facing shortage of funds during the civil war, but the gardens were still well maintained.

The Royal Botanical Gardens in Sri Lanka are 10 times better and larger than Penang Botanical Gardens.

More info can be found from these two websites,

http://www.botanicgardens.gov.lk/peradeniya/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Botanical_Gardens,_Sri_Lanka

Their gardens charge foreigners 10 times more than local people. I paid local rate because local resident status is automatically granted to expat.

I spent one whole day just to walk through a small portion of 145 acres botanical gardens, truly indulged in the lush green and spotting fruit bats on the treetops.

This below photo is not taken from Penang Botanical gardens, it’s from the Royal Botanical Gardens.

See more amazing photos from the Google search.

It’s time to collect entrance fee to support the Penang Gardens daily operation like Sri Lanka, where it hired 450 staff to maintain the gardens.

Melaka monorail went kaput again....

Off-track: Anne descending from the monorail using a ladder after the service came to a halt Tuesday.

Mohd Ali Rustam should climb up the ladder with his monkey-like silat skill to rescue Briton duo from his problematic monument project.

My China made electrical appliances all went kaput in one to two years, this monorail will facing the same fate.

Monorail traps British duo

MALACCA: The city’s monorail service came to an abrupt halt at 1.11pm on 1.11.11, trapping two British tourists for about 20 minutes.

Firemen rescued James Craft, a 57-year-old police officer from England, and his 49-year-old wife Anne, a former school teacher.

The couple descended from the monorail using a ladder.

Kuala Selangor tour operator created a new tour product unlike someone is waiting for handout

Eagle feeding tour operators in Kuala Selangor have never asked Ng Yen Yen for money to develop a new tourist product. Through their own initiative and proactive attitude, the herd of eagle is increasing from a few to hundreds after the regular feeding sessions.

The tour operator can get more business and earn more money, and the eagle population is increased. A win-win eco-tourism.

This Chinese fisherman turned tour operator is creating a new tour product at his own effort unlike UMNO Puteras who are stealing billions under the disguise of supplying a million cows and other public projects.

Luckily Selangor is still under PR, otherwise the Chinese tour operators will be kicked out by UMNO goons.

There are hornbill bird nesting at Muar riverside housing estate, and yet no one in Muar is thinking to promote hornbill bird watching. The firefly tour in Muar river is also another failed project.

You can guess who is the tour operator in Muar???? [......] fill up the blank yourself.

This video clip is hacked from 1Cuti-cuti Malaysia’s Chinese TV Travelogue.
