I remembered our Defense Minister swore such similar accident will never be repeated when a navy logistic ship was burned down in Lumut. Not too long ago, a patrol navy boat engine was caught fire and sank in Pulau Layang-layang.
Again, the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) ship KD Mutiara is believed to have suffered more than 80 per cent damage due to the ferocity of a fire that broke out on the vessel on Thursday night.
Amazingly, not a single navy official was fired and charged in court for the negligence of duty.
UMNO cronies must be celebrated with champagne for billions ringgit ship projects are awaiting to be signed with them.

The father and three sons from a Chinese family all are enrolled into RMC is a very rare case. My salute to Tan or Chan family, and his youngest son is top achiever in academic and marching. Mr. Tan himself was a best student for navy cadets and serving as a navy officer now.
The drawback is only 8 Chinese out of 236 students in last batch of cadet officials.
Malaysian Chinese should stop blaming BN government for 3.4% measly percentage in RMC. The military is looking for 30% non-bumi to join RMC, but Chinese and Indian themselves turn down the opportunity.
Military is an institution in Malaysia where race background is less emphasized.
US government used to provide four West Point scholarships worth USD 500,000 each before Mahathir became PM. US government decided to cancel the military aid program in mid-80s because of his anti-semitic and western rhetorics.

My example of paying 400% normal price tag on DEFTECH AV-8 8X8 armored vehicles by Mindef was omitted as usual by UMNO mouth piece, NST.
An idiotic reader in the NST thought he is an expert on purchasing in the Malaysia military. He thought buying RM3 billion a piece of Typhoon jet fighter by Malaysia is impossible and ridiculous thing.
We all know Malaysia is a Bolehland, UMNO defense minister paid RM3 billion for a Typhoon is definite a possible thing.

Cost of aircraft can go down, says Eurofighter
Royal Malaysian Air Force MiG-29Ns in action during Lima. The search is on to find their replacement.
Eurofighter’s director for its Typhoon Malaysia programme was responding to negative news reports that the multi-role combat aircraft (MRCA) was too costly.
“Our approach is to provide a figure… this can go down later (depending on what the requirements are),” he said at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition.
This made-in-Malaysia navy patrol boat was sinking by itself after chasing a China navy patrol boat intruded into Pulau Layang-layang water.
During the September 15 incident, the ship’s main engine room was flooded when one of its shaft was reportedly damaged. The engine shaft was dislodged after high speed chasing which caused a hole in the boat hull.
Our enemy does not need to fire a single shot, our patrol boat will kaput by itself.
KD Pari is a Jerong Class Fast Attack Craft (Gun) built by Hong-Leong Lurrsen shipyard, Butterworth, Penang in 1977. To date there has been no official announcement with regard to the FAC(G) status whether it could be repaired and returned to active duty. Local source say that repair works might be too costly to be done but this however still depend on RMN assessment and study of this matter.
The navy is still waiting for KD Sri Inderapura replacement as well as the definitive type for its LCS program, in which six of the vessels are in the pipeline. Nevertheless, delays and setbacks would cause serious detrimental effect to RMN’s operational tempo especially in times where Chinese and Indonesian aggressions at the Spratlys and Ambalat regions are in the rise.

“The people need to show their support for the army’s role in the country. How can we be loyal to you if you are disloyal to us?” Jen Zulkifeli asked.
Neither we ask Jen Zulkifeli be loyal to rakyat or we rakyat be loyal to you or army.
As the Defence Forces Chief, he should fully aware that the loyalty of army personnel and rakyat is always toward the king and nation, never to the army or himself or anyone other than the king.
His public statement is totally disloyal and insult to our King under the Malaysia constitution. Asking loyalty to other than the king is a betrayal to the king and nation.
Jeneral Zulkifeli should be sacked by our king as the Defence Forces Chief.
‘The army is apolitical’
By YUEN MEIKENG
KUALA LUMPUR: The army is professional, apolitical and respects the rights of its officers to vote for whomever they want, says Defence Forces chief Jeneral Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin.
He expressed disappointment over claims by four ex-soldiers that they were ordered to cast postal votes for other army officers and their wives when they were still in the service.
Dismissing the claims as false, Jen Zulkifeli, however, said he did not blame the former soldiers as he believed they were being used by irresponsible parties which were trying to “take advantage” of the situation.
“This is an act of betrayal.
