Batu Putih case: Malaysia relied on Singapore documents

SINGAPORE, Dec 20 — Most of the documents used by Malaysia to make its case on Pulau Batu Putih at the International Court of Justice were produced by Singapore.

This startling allegation was made by the republic’s Chief Justice Chan Sek Keong and turns on its head the assertion by Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry that its officials scoured the world for evidence to back its claim that it had ownership over the outcrop of rocks off Johor.

Chan made this revelation at the launch of the book Pedra Branca: The Road To The World Court.

He was quoted by the Straits Times as saying: “I am not sure whether the International Court of Justice realised that most of the documents used by Malaysia in her arguments against Singapore were produced by us.

“So, you can imagine our deep disappointment when it was alleged that Singapore had withheld from the court a letter which Malaysia believed would damage our case.”

Daim and Syed Abbas must resign for their blunder!

That is too silly and brainless to rely on documents prepared by your opponent.

“So, you can imagine our deep disappointment when it was alleged that Singapore had withheld from the court a letter which Malaysia believed would damage our case.”

Malaysia should not proceeded to ICJ IF the letter to Johor state government could not be found. This is a betrayal of our nation for those entrusted to defend our sovereignty.

A Malay folk who was eating in a mamak stall even dropped his tear when he read from the Utusan that Malaysia lost Batu Putih to Singapore.

The Indonesian Air Force deployed Wednesday a F-16 fighter plane along with a nine-person air crew from Madiun, East Java, to help secure Indonesian waters around the disputed Ambalat territory.

Several other jet fighters were stationed at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, an Air Force official said, as quoted by kompas.com Wednesday evening.

Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Chief IB Putu Dunia said, however, that the recent move was not related to increasing tensions between Indonesia and Malaysia.

Indonesia does not need to dispatch any F16 jet fighetr to fight with Malaysia, they just need to activate  two million trojan horses right in our backyard to creat chaos and anarchy.
