A whining again P1 in the Oriental Daily

A P1 customer service staff member did call me to subscribe P1 broadband service. I believe a friend of mine who is working as a senior staff in the company has passing my hand phone number to P1.

Telekom is still charging me 2/3 monthly fee although my Stremayx was disconnected on 5 Oct 2012. My bill payment gateway, Celcom customer service email is always bounce back due to server space is fulled.

Basically the customer is king in Bodohland is only happen before you sign up any contract with the company.

The customer is idiot afterward like the unpleasant experience faced by this author who has decided to terminate P1 broadband package after only two days with P1.

Telekom is a bully

Besides the double billing issue faced by some users, I have encountered a bully from Telekom who called me after I terminated my streamyx account at a Telekom outlet in Taman Indah Pandan.

The Telekom staff who speak Malay only was asking my personal particulars on the phone, I replied him that NO to provide my personal details like name and IC number to anyone calling my phone.

He threatened me that Telekom will not terminate my Streamyx account even I already have submitted application form to them IF I refused to provide my personal info for their verification on the phone.

I immediately shouted at him at >100 decibel points and challenged him to do so.

I scolded him that I will make it an issue by dragging Telekom to Tribunal Court besides complaining to Prime Minister’s complaint bureau and MCMC IF he got ball not to terminate my streamyx account.

The staff chickened out and terminated my streamyx account on the following day.

Telekom is a big bully because of its monopoly on broadband service in Bodohland.

Steamed up over Unifi-Streamyx double billing

Malaysiakini – 2 hours 4 minutes ago

An emerging number of Internet users are accusing Telekom Malaysia Bhd of double-dipping – offering an “upgrade” to its Unifi services without automatic cancellation of their Streamyx services.

This has resulted in many customers being charged for the pricier Unifi services, a fibre-optic network, on top of their existing Streamyx services, which runs on the slower DSL network.

Celcom is abusing my mobile phone number by sending unsolicited political messages

I have received many pro-BN and commercial SMSs from Celcom without my consent, the latest two SMSs are from KPKK who ask me to attend Himpunan Janji Ditepati at Bukit Jalil on 31 August 2012 and another one on 31 August at Dataran Merdeka.

I will cancel my Celcom Broadband next week as a protest for this spamming campaign. Enough is enough, this is only way to teach Celcom a lesson.

Digi mobile broadband service is bad

I have tried Digi 3G service by subscribing 7-day package to see its performance and quality, two problems I have encountered with Digi broadband.

1. Most of the time [estimated 80%) my Nokia phone set cannot access Digi broadband even in the area with full signal.

2. Digi disallows user to terminate 7-day package service, Digi auto-renew the service because there is no instruction in SMS for user to terminate the service as promised.

I have to lodge a complaint with MCMC to ask Digi to refund and terminate the broadband service once and forever.

Therefore I’m still using Celcom broadband for above reasons.

Google broadband in America is USD70 per month for 1Gbps

Bolehland telcom TMNUT is still hard selling 20 Mbps for RM249.

Google broadband is 50 times faster than TMNUT with more or less same price. If you factor in our earning power is only 1/7 of American, the parity price difference is 350 time.

The wiring coverage in America is more extensive, Rais Yatim should stop using Singapore and Hong Kong as examples for cheaper infrastructure expenses.
