The Guang Ming reporter showed his police report and camera damaged by the PPS member.
A Chinese newspaper reporter was brought to Penang state sponsored PPS (a private army?) office and beaten up after a member of PPS accused the reporter took his photo without consent.
The political secretary of LGE apologized to the reporter and freezed the Keramat PPS branch with immediate effect after the incident.
This action is not enough, LGE and state government have to bring the attacker to justice and compensate the reporter.
More important is how to prevent PPS private army takes the law into their hands.

We were told and assured repeatedly by PAS and PR that Hudud Laws only apply on Muslims.
Personally I do not mind Iran’s model of hudud law is applied on me because non-Mulsims in Iran are still allowed to drink alcohol. Nevertheless, I have to respect the majority of non-Muslims in Malaysia who do not want to live under Hudud law.
Although top leaders in PAS have responded that PAS MAY review no unisex hair salon by-law in Kelantan, but the response from Kota Baru council president is alarming.
He posed this question in Facebook, “Do you want your husband’s hairs cut by a pretty female barber?”
What is wrong if a man’s haircut is done by a pretty barber? A man becomes less moral for seeing a pretty girl?
Such narrow and weired thinking is not limited to certain PAS members and it was shared by Tourism Minister, Ng Yen Yen who opposed local families to hire Mainland Chinese maids for too sexy and seductive to husband.
Anyway, my friend’s wife has followed Ng’s advice by picking an ugly Indonesian maid.
What do you say, DAP? Are you going to withdraw from PR if PAS refuses to budge down on unisex by-law?
PR will lose a number of non-Muslim fence sitting votes if PAS maintains its unisex by-law.
BN would lose to PR if only 50,000 voters in those tightly contested constituencies voted PR in GE12.
Where is society headed?

WE refer to the Kelantan government’s refusal to budge from its unisex salon ruling.
As an NGO, we are deeply concerned over the direction Malaysia is heading? We have been repeatedly told that Islamic practices and hudud laws would only apply to Muslims. So why are non-Muslim now subject to gender-segregation rules in unisex salon?
For Malaysian Chinese, having hair cut by the opposite sex was never and will never be an issue. It’s a centuries-old practice and the Kelantan government has no right to impose its will on non-Muslims.
What would happen if PAS and their cohorts won the next general election. Will all Malaysians be subject to Islamic law?
We are very concerned and we have to vite with our eyes wide open. We are responsible for putting the right government in power.

BNM and police are too slow and soft to act against Ponzi schemes. I do not know how many retirees have locked their money in these scams.
Many investors have been tricked by Mahathir presence in the Genneva launch ceremony. Those scammers behind Genneva are laughing all the way to bank.
BN government may bail them out with the public funds if majority of the gold bar investors are bumi, unfortunately they are mostly greedy Chinese who wanted to make quick money from the downliners.
All these gold bar Ponzi schemes are alibaba scams and the work of UMNO big shots to cheat money from Malaysian Chinese and Indian.
Up to RM10b tied up in Genneva gold scheme, authorities say
The Malaysian Insider – 2 hours 50 minutes ago
By Ida Lim
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 ― Putrajaya believes investors may have pumped up to RM10 billion into the gold trading scheme under Genneva Malaysia, which was recently raided by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin said today.
“The information that I have is that there [are] 35,000 investors that can be detected, but the total investment can reach RM10 billion,” the deputy finance minister told Parliament during Question Time today.
Awang Adek previously told Parliament that Genneva Malaysia’s liabilities exceeded its assets, indicating and that the company was unable to pay returns to its investors.
Genneva’s bank accounts and other assets have been frozen by BNM since October 1, following suspicion that the company allegedly breached several banking and financial laws such as illegal deposit-taking, money laundering, tax evasion and appointing agents without licence, after several people lodged complaints with the police.
Genneva Malaysia has some 60,000 customers and a monthly turnover of RM2 billion, according to its traders interviewed by The Malaysian Insider last week, but the company’s website states 50,000 customers and a turnover of RM3 billion.
Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz has also said the central bank is fast-tracking investigations into the controversial gold trading company so that its customers will not be kept waiting for too long.
Genneva, Pageantry Gold Bhd, Caesar Gold Sdn Bhd, Worldwide Far East Bhd and Bestino Group Bhd are among 25 individuals and companies offering unlicensed activities that were placed on an investor alert list by the central bank last year, double the number from 2010 and the highest on record since 2003.

The girl wanted to seek revenge for a broken relationship with the Mat Salleh, but without consider legal consequences.
She lost the defamation case and was asked to pay RM 1,000,000 because of no money to hire lawyer. Instead of shutting up her mouth as ordered by the court, she continued to publish defamatory remarks in her Facebook.
She faced contempt of court charge and a jail term is awaiting for her. The lesson is the girl has to pay RM 1,000,000 to Mat Saleh who already got free fxxx with her.
A Chinese saying, a good dog will be bullied by the man. She is a good dog, her wrong barking hurts her more.
If you do not have monetary resources to fight someone in the court, go find alternative ways which may be legal or illegal.
Student cited for contempt of court over defamatory postings

KUALA LUMPUR: The former girlfriend of a Canadian teacher has been cited for contempt after she disobeyed an order which prohibited her from posting defamatory remarks against him on the Internet.
High Court judicial commissioner Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera ruled that Lee Ching Yan, 28, a student, had breached a court order dated Nov 30 last year by posting derogatory remarks against Lee David Clayworth, 35, via Facebook, e-mails and various sites.
Vazeer said Lee had also posted remarks against the court which was deemed serious. “To make it worse, she has chosen not to be present in court today although she was notified of today’s proceedings,” said Vazeer.
“The court must take action against Lee. She must be responsible for her actions.” Vazeer said a warrant will be issued against Lee and she will be imposed with a custodial sentence. The judicial commissioner, however, will want to hear her mitigation before sentencing her.
He said the Immigration Department will also be notified of the court’s decision and she would be nabbed if she tried to leave the country.

I hate to say this is SOP for Malaysian Chinese who are notoriously known as kiasi and selfish in nature.
I saw a similar incident in Muar town when I was a teenager, a Malay man attacked two injured Indians after a motorbike accident. At least 10 Chinese passers-by were watching the attack, but none of them intervened and stopped the attack.
I have to admit I was too weak and afraid to come forward at that time besides my super kiasi elder brother who was dragging me out from the scene.
The Malay man finally stopped to attack two Indians who were lying on the ground after they begged and apologized to him for causing accident. I suspect the Malay is either a soldier or police from his body build and haircut.
Frankly speaking, no Chinese will come forward even they see a girl is raped in the broad daylight.
I spit on Chinese even I am a Chinese.
Passers-by did nothing as teen gets beaten to death

MALACCA: A crowd of some 30 passers-by just stood by and watched two boys beat up 14-year-old bully victim K. Saravannan at the Tampin Bus Terminal.
Nobody came forward to stop the boys from attacking Saravannan, who later succumbed to his injuries, during the incident, with some even leaving after seeing him lying unconscious on the first floor of the terminal.
