Another BN screw-up project :: Laman Maharani

The park is renamed foreign worker park by local folks after many foreign workers congregating in the park during the weekends and public holidays.

All basic facilities in the park like street lamps and fountain are either broken or missing. The place is also thick with urine smell, and rubbish and bird droppings are common sights.

Believe it or not, there was a fireworks display in my tiny new village

A 7-minute fireworks display at the cost of RM50,000 was sponsored by an unnamed Chinese datuk during the Pagoh MCA’s CNY celebration in my new village.

Although the fireworks display is a private-funded project, I still disagree on spending RM50,000 on such non-value added activity. DPM Muhyiddin attended the party and he was with the crowds for a few hours because he is the host MP.

BN government donated RM80,000 for this MCA-sponsored CNY celebration party is a blatant abuse on our public funds.

This MCA-sponsored CNY party was responded to DAP indoor rally held in my new village a few months ago.

There is another ugly thing (it’s still legal) I do not disclose in public about this CNY party, you have to find out yourself. I have to give face to my kampong folks and my elder brother.

Do you trust anyone who cannot keep promises?

I used to trust my old mum until last week. May be due to her aging brain, my old mum is lying to me and my siblings in many matters. I found out she did not do what she had promised for a small household matter by chance, I decided to handle it my own because I’m no longer trust her words.

I lost faith on her now after a series of broken promises or lies.

In the macro level, how do I trust PR who break almost all promises made in GE12?

If PR thinks that the Orange Book can convince more Malaysians (was 49%) to vote PR, they are damn wrong or naive. No one will ever trust you after you have breaking all sort of promises.

There were 49% Malaysians voted PR because BN is too evil to be compromised anymore. But in the past four years, PR has shown they are as evil as BN.

I believe many Malaysians like me will boycott GE13 because voting either one is also guilty. You either choose a tiger or a crocodile at the end.

I share a same thought with Raja Petra on this matter, ‘Peeved voters may boycott polls’.

MCA should answer why Johor is following Kedah to ban entertainment on certain days

Rerember MCA was acting like Chinese hero when Kedah was planning to ban entertainment outlets during Ramdan.

All Johoreans know entertainment outlets in Johor were asked to shut down during the Awal Murharam, the birthday of Prophet Muhummad and the Hol day of late Johor Sultan.

MCA Johor state exco and Chua Soi Lek responded they have never received such order is a white lie.

Chua Soi Lek should come forward to explain why Johor is following Kedah islamic policy (albeit it was withdrawn later) to ban entertainment outlets during certain public holidays?

Why no similar ban during the Wesak day to honor the birthday and enlightenment of Lord Buddha?

BR1M money distribution is torturing old folks

My 78-year old mum and another almost 90-year old lady were asked to collect RM500 vouchers from a community hall in another village at about 8km away.

The BR1M is not for poor people only, the old lady’s son is a multimillionaire, yet she was selected for BR1M because MCA knows she will vote BN.

My mum tagged along my young neighbor to the distribution center. They all have to queue up for a few hours under the scorching sun before they managed to collect taxpayer’s money. My mum was considered lucky for getting RM500 on that day, there are many folks in the list have to collect RM500 in the next round.

Why BN government cannot send the vouchers to successful applicants’ homes?

Why BN government has to distribute cash and vouchers to applicants in the concentration camps for cheap media stunt?

Asking 90-old lady to queue up in a long queue is a civilized way of treating senior citizens?

This below photo from Sin Chew Daily is worth more than a thousand word.

BR1Mming with anger after long wait

JOHOR BARU: Tempers flared when some 300 people had to wait for hours to collect their RM500 BR1M aid at the district office here.

Some recipients, who came as early as 6am for their vouchers, said they were disappointed with the way the distribution was organised.

Pensioner Mohd Yassin Jawa, 60, said the office should have made more preparations to handle the huge crowd.

“The personnel should have set up proper queue lines with priority given to disabled and senior citizens. No chairs were provided and we had to stand under the sun,” he said.

Unemployed and disabled Tumiran Wartojo, 54, said the waiting area was small and thus crowded.

“The heat was unbearable. The ceiling fan was not working and the toilet was a distance away,” he said.

Meanwhile, a Johor Baru district office spokesman admitted that there were problems in distributing the aid, adding that it was looking into ways to improve the situation.
