The roads in the village used to be covered by angsana trees in 70s like in Lembing Pahang or Singapore island.
The flowering session would see the roads filled with the yellow flowers like the picture below taken in Kangar. Unfortunately all angsana trees were chopped down to make way for electricity poles.
