MACC Offices To Be Equipped With VIR By Year End

PUTRAJAYA, July 26 (Bernama) — All Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission (MACC) offices nationwide will be equipped with Video Interview Rooms (VIR) by end of the year.

MACC Investigation Director Datuk Mustafar Ali said it would be carried out in stages with the first phase involving offices located in MACC-owned buildings.

So far, the VIR facility had been installed at the MACC Putrajaya office and also at the Perak office, he told a media conference here today.

He said the Putrajaya office had two VIRs, while the Perak office had four.
